Reviews

The film has garnered a mix of positive reviews, with many praising its inventive approach to horror. Cinemablend calls Smile 2 "a major win for franchise horror" and highlights the film’s creative jump scares and psychological depth. Collider praises Naomi Scott's performance, calling her "the heart of the film" and emphasizing the effective mix of suspense and emotional drama. However, some critics note that while the film excels in terror, it suffers from pacing issues in the second act.

Overall Reception

Smile 2 has been lauded for its visual creativity and unsettling atmosphere. While its horror elements are as strong as the original, the sequel also introduces new psychological layers, making it a standout in the genre this year. Although the pacing can drag slightly in parts, the powerful finale more than compensates, leaving audiences with lasting impressions of dread

and unease.
